The ending was rather sudden and confusing, but it was also pretty cool once I figured it out.

Well, frankly, I really enjoyed the build-up of the story of Fluttershy finally figuring out what was wrong and it seemed ironic, Pinkie Pie's last line. I really like the bait and switch you had at the ending. You had Fluttershy's flighty personality down pat and was a nice to follow her train of thought. Though I am curious about a one thing. Did the mention of Gilda have a particular purpose?
I really loved this work, and I so far don't see anything that I could even begin to dislike, I feel as though it clearly shows a good tone, as well as the mood that it portrays to the audience, and now I think I see why the nurse had said a re-imagining of memories when I put together Flutters seeing Gilda, it seems that this story has so many ways it cn play out, I'm sure that you've already thought of how it plays out, but it sames as though to me that those can be two completely different realities and she could have slipped inn between, but it's just a speculation or possibility, I can't wait to see what you have in-store for us. OH and reader if you guys have any other speculations then plz come-fourth, I would love to hear them.
All in all, it's a wonderful story to me, and I would Watch you as well, but that button don't seem to be doing good for me, hmmm, let me try my other Browser and see if it works, Oh and I give you 20/10 stars in my opinion for this is the type of story that I've been waiting on for a while.

Some parts have confused me... first pinkie tells how fluttershy died, then this other part comes near the end of the chapter telling another story that ends with her in a coma. So, is all of this a coma dream? or what is it?

the first part of the story is a coma dream, yes. it's kind of explained when Nurse Redheart makes the comment on how she could be dreaming about events that are twisted from how they actually happened in real life. Comaception, you can call it.

maybe I can clear some of that confusion up for you. the reality is that Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are the only surviving Mane 6 members. the others died in the explosion. the first part of the story (up until the italics) is a coma-dream that Fluttershy is having. that's kind of explained in fourth-wall-breaking style when Nurse Redheart explains that she might be having dreams that are twisted versions of real-life events (which is, of course, exactly what's happening).
and yes, in the end, this was a Flutterdash fic.
