Until now you may have had a chance to convince the dragons you were not a temple robber who only wanted to steal their treasure.
But now even this remote chance is gone. Good luck dealing with a group of probably very angry dragons.

He seemed relaxed if a bit curious, much to her confusion. Dragons were supposed to be proud, intimidating creatures. Yet she felt slightly comfortable. If anything, the Dragons surrounding her seemed to almost put her at ease as they continued to silently watch her.

I'll imagine once Daring left the dragons open a hidden compartment within the temple containing dozens of identical (and actually worthless) statues, waiting for the next adventurer looking for fortune.
(This sounded better in my head, to be honest.)

Anyway, good story!
