There are many boundaries between an immortal princess and her student. Some are inevitably crossed when Spike accidentally sends a fantasy of Twilight’s to Princess Celestia.

Rated T for a little bit of mild spiciness, though there’s nothing explicit.

Takes place between season 2 and 3, with unicorn Twilight and alicorn Celestia.

Won second place in the Twelfth Bimonthly Twilestia is Bestia contest

Very nice first story. I hope to read more from you in the future.

Thank you so much for your kind comment :) I do have a few more short fics planned! before I try writing a longer story :yay:

Excellent work! This was a really throw back story to the early fandom days. Gave me 2013 nostalgia. Loved it!

Okay this is pretty good, made me laugh but also feel bad.

11281151
Thank you :) I’m glad it did. Seasons 1 and 2 are my comfort seasons and I wanted to write a fic set back then

For a first story all I can say is, we will watch your career with great interest

11281522
This means so much, thank you! I do a few writing projects in my free time, though this is my first fanfic for MLP FiM/ any fandom— I suppose reading heaps of fanfics did help with writing :raritywink:

I’m glad you enjoyed it and will publish more when I can— if you’d like to, please let me know anything I could improve upon!

This is very good for a first story! Ya got my follow.

Two minor things:

1. Third to last paragraph you spelled pony 'ponie'.

2. Final paragraph "was resolved pretty soon" is odd. Maybe "was resolved soon enough."

Otherwise it's great. Good job.

11281718
Thank you so much for pointing this out! Corrected :)

You're making me feel why you do this to me!

I now want to read all of those scrolls

11281772
Awww I’m sorry :fluttershysad: I was trying to make this a pretty light story, but I do have a comedy fic with the mane six in the works so hopefully that will make up for this :raritywink:

Donut Joe's is in Canterlot.

11282285
oh my god i completely forgot that :raritydespair: rectified to the Hayburger :)

That was a good story.

I haven't really read a fanfic properly on this site in many years but I do really love this. It was very short but very lovely and warm. An amazing story for sure.

Poor, innocent Spikey-wikey just got introduced to his mom’s private self insert fantasies.

Traumatized barely begins to describe it. :rainbowlaugh::trollestia:

What if this story was A Statistical Analysis of Sharing. :pinkiecrazy:

And I… I hand wrote this report because I haven’t written to her personally in so long… not that it would matter.”

I'm happy that skilled writers like you are still joining this site all the way into 2022. Welcome, and I hope you will continue writing.

Your story was also featured on Equestria Daily.

Holy Spider-man, this is your first story? This was the perfect balance between hilarity, romance, and a dash of sauciness. I'm keeping my eye on you.

Thank you! This has all really encouraged me to write more :)

Dear Celestia this is brilliant! Plus now I'm intrigued by these sketches that Twilight drew.

I can tell you thoroughly enjoyed writing this because I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Plus, damn this is your first story too; man congrats on killing it!

Poor Spike. Still, he absolutely has Twilight's back through it all.

Great chemistry between these two.

“Oh, most wonderful of nights!”

I laughed out loud when I read that. :rainbowlaugh:

Here's hoping you write more, whether in this timeline or others.:trollestia:

11284856
Thanks! I feel like though Spike would find it amusing he’d still stay by Twilight’s side through it all

11284872
hahah glad to hear that :D

I do have a comedy (with some romance) planned involving the mane six and princesses! working on it currently

11284233
I did indeed enjoy this, happy you liked it! thank you very much :)

11283613
OMG PLOT TWIST I love it!!! (Also corrected to ‘hoof wrote’ ty for noting that!)

Thank you so much  I will be writing more, I’m so happy to be part of this! Lets keep the fandom going strong :)

And thanks for telling me about Equestria Daily!

So cute!! I loved the mutual pining, and the writing is so nicely written!!! :raritystarry:

Wait, Equestria Daily's still active?!

This was adorable, fluffy, and fuzzy in all the right places. A great read.

Aw, this is great already.

Though reading through it made me think that the entire 'I'm unworthy'-angle is quite common. And it made me think about a scenario: Twilight loves Celestia. Barely anypony knows, because, well, it doesn't exactly come up in conversation. If it would, she wouldn't make a big deal out of it. She's not thinking 'but she's a royal' or 'but she's the princess' or 'but she's [insert quality here]'. The only reason she doesn't act on her feelings? Because she's reasonable and smart and wants a partner that's actually there for her. Like, physically there. Can't have that many snuggles if you live in a different town. Especially if your loved one has to rule an entire nation. There's court, and paperwork, and weighty decisions to be made. So Twilight hasn't convinced herself 'I'm unworthy', she's convinced herself 'it wouldn't work out, she wouldn't have as much time for me as I would like/require'.
And then it's Celestia's 'job' to convince her that they can make it work anyway.

Just a random idea I had while reading. I'm going to move on to the next chapter now, already looking forward to it.

This is a great idea!! I agree my fic is a pretty common Twilestia interpretation, this is definitely food for thought :)

Thanks so much for the comment

Others said it already, and I usually refrain from just parroting, buuut... I feel like I need to. So, first off: Spike. He's the butt of the joke in too many stories, both in the show and from writers. Although, funnily enough, many fanfic-writers treat him a lot better than the show-writers did. And you... you did good. He was perfect. Supportive, occasionally nonchalant and cheeky... it was really nice reading you treat him well.
And secondly, I have to repeat that I, too, am very, very, very, oh so very glad that talented writers like you still join the ranks even after the show 'ended'. May your muse be a bottomless well, and may your creativity never cease.

Thank you for writing.

11302377
Goodness, that was quick.

This is a great idea!! I agree my fic is a pretty common Twilestia interpretation, this is definitely food for thought :)

I humbly accept the compliment. Thank you.
That being said, there's never anything wrong with writing 'common interpretations'. Every writer has his own style or flourishes, his own ideas, his own interpretations of character quirks and whatnot. Thus, every story is unique, even if common tropes are used. I would have a lot less to read if everyone would shy away from those. And wouldn't that make me sad.

Thanks so much for the comment

You're welcome.

Ahhhh again, thank you so much for the extremely kind words— comments like yours give me a lot to think about and encourage me to keep writing! I would say it’s only now that I’m properly a member of this fandom— even though the show is over, I’m hopefully just getting started :yay:

I’m glad you liked how I charcaterised Spike! I re-watched Lesson Zero before writing this fic, and saw how he really tried to help Twilight ‘snap out of it’, doing his best to help her out of her breakdown. I guess it sort of inspired me here :)

11302391
The fandom won't die anytime soon if we keep going! Sure, we may not be as big as we used to be but we're still here and we're still writing horsewords.

11312222
I absolutely agree. Doesn't help with the tiny, nagging voice in the back of my head, but I absolutely agree. And as I said, I'm very glad to see people still being active, no matter how much it hurts at times to see the other side of people being inactive for years now.

11312342
Yep. I wasn't old enough to officially join the fandom until a short while ago (unofficially joined when I was 9) and I'm so sad that I basically missed interacting with other people until the Fabrik started slowing down.

11312406
I get that. Well, welcome to the club, we don't provide exits. :rainbowlaugh:
Luckily many of the 'old guard' left their work behind, so there's a treasure trove to dig into.

11312409
Thank you for the welcome. You can't keep me locked in here forever! :trixieshiftright:
Been browsing this site for about 4 years now, having an account makes things so much easier though. Plus I can post stories now so random people can consume my garbage 😈 and I can keep track of the treasure the oldies left behind.
