Reads like one of the several investigator-themed episodes we got throughout G4, in all the best ways. Fics that read like episodes are the cornerstone of fanfiction, and it's always fun to read more like them. :twilightsmile:

It's funny, I've never actually seen any of those old detective movies. And yet they are so ubiquitous that I understand all the references. Very well done, very entertaining.
