That DOES IT! Spike has had enough. He won't deal with Twilight anymore. Not when she can get so mean and yell so loud. He'll go off somewhere else. Somewhere where he can be alone. Curled beneath a hill, he hears a gentle voice calling.

This was a nice read.

I thought that this was going to be some kind of Hobbit style story that starred Spike.

You know, this is why I like this fandom. Sure, it has its ups, and its downs. Oh, the downs. But there are stories like this that make me feel all fuzzy inside. This particular story hit home as I'm struggling with the same feelings that Spike has felt. It was quite cathartic and I thank you! Keep writing, you're really good at it! :yay:

This is fantastic

How lucky am I to find this the day of the upload this is an amazing story spike Is my favorite character and to see him portrayed this way makes me happy

So Celestia died or what and Spike was her Son?! That Story was very awesome but Iˋm hopelessly lost:twilightblush:

"Since there is none in this lovely tunnel way," began the goddess as she leaned forward, inching her muzzle inside the entrance, "I suppose I could use it for my afternoon nap."

Pfft. Press X to doubt.

Brother, you truly know how to pull at the heart strings

I enjoyed this article so much, I will share it with everyone. Thanks for your helpful sharing, helix jump

This should've been an episode in the show. Nonetheless an alternate ending for Owl's Well That Ends Well.

"Is anyone home?"
Spike sniffed and huffed, sobbing out a few cries, curling into himself more—until finding it impossible. Having given himself away, he forced himself to speak. "N-No."

"Okay. Never mind then." *leaves*

That ending was unexpected.
When I had first read Spike was standing at a grave I thought it would be Twilight inside and Celestia comforting him, not the other way around.

I seriously wish they would have had Celestia be a mother to Spike in the show. Personally I feel like there are some shadows of it but a story like this really makes me think that the stories that could have been told from mother to son would be so honest and heart warming. I'm very glad I read this. It's a shame she died but no one loves forever (unless you're Discord).

With regard to this matter, I am quite grateful that you have informed me.
