If I was the type to be easily moved to tears then this my friend might very well have done it.
Have yourself a hooves up from me! The formatting style and the way you had the characters speak in italics is a little odd, don't think I have ever seen anyone do that before BUT different is not always bad and in this case it works.
No grammatical errors that I saw and a very powerful short story.

My style of writing is a mutation of how a famous Swedish writer writes, namely Gösta Knutsson.
I have only one of his books, but that one is a 612 1/2 pages long book containing 11 lesser stories about a cat that got his tail bitten off by a rat when he was a kitten and how he copes with the socialicing with other cats. The book is called ''Boken om Pelle Svanslös.'' or ''The Book about Pelle Tail-less''
Spike shouldn't have been like he was when he told the others that Twi gives him books as b-day gifts. That book was a b-day gift from my mother and it is the best book I've ever read.
There are a few errors, however, I find it very enjoyable!
