I myself like a good oc romance story
and some of them are with an oc and one of the mane 6
I gotta admit, the character development in this story sucks pretty hard. I don't really relate or feel for these characters due to a lack of backstory for them. There are also some unexplained things in this story, like why would AJ and Twilight need extra workers?

I would argue that leaving your audience little to grasp onto during the first chapter character-wise is a bad idea, I'm sure you have something planned.
