I don’t have any plans on what I’m going to write, so any suggestions about where the story should go will be thought of.
Other than that, the basic story is that 500 or so years after the Last Battle, Asha'man are now accepted and no longer going insane from the taint, they are treated similar to Aes Sedai, and they have started to observe things outside of the planet. An Asha'man is somehow brought to Equestria, and discovers that he has somehow been changed into a strange creature(a pony of course).

Firstly, just big props on the crossover. I've read all the WoT books and I am awaiting the last. I like the idea, but the plot seems to go really fast. This could be awesome, even for readers who haven't read WoT, but they don't know terms like White and Black Tower or the significance of them. So maybe add more background. Then when he arrives in Ponyville, he being an Ash'aman, it would be expected that he'd be extremely wary of Twilight, her being a female magic user. Much like the Aes Sedai. Could use some more beginning dialogue between he and Twilight before she just decides to help him, or he to follow her.
Nevertheless, I can see this being a good crossover if you can pull it off!
I would never have thought of a WoT crossover. Props for going where no author has gone before, but marks off for making the plot move so quickly.

The manticore is a bit cliched, but passable. And he didn't think to bring any angreal with him? If I was M'Hael I would have at least sent the poor bastard with a few combative ter'angreal.

and you need to expand upon certain areas.
add dialouge, don't just say that they talked,
add a bit more action and description. The whole thing went way too fast.
My advice on chapters:
-prolouge- Sovin in his universe and making of the portal
-ch 1- Sovin arriving in Equestria and fighting Manticore. Twilight arrives and finds him.
-ch 2- Soviin is led back to ponyville and Pinkie throws party, Sovin gathers info on Equestria
Another thing, if they could open a portal to an unknown habitable world, why would be send an Asha'man, which were made to be weapons, there? And why would they just abandon an asset such as a fully-fledged Asha'man to wander an unknown land with no supplies.
Honestly, a good edit would be to make an Aes Sedai go with him. Maybe one of the Gray Ajah, as a mediator, find out who or what are the leaders of the land, and send the Asha'man as an escort. Hell, maybe even it is a Asha'man and his bonded Aes Sedai. It would add an interesting dynamic
And if it is set 500 years after the Last Battle, some explanation of what the Westlands is like now would be cool.
Thanks everyone for chipping in with advice. This is the first big thing I have written and I really appreciate any feedback. I will change it so that the first chapter is the gateway, including more descriptions about things around and have an Aes Sedai go with. This first chapter was more of me just getting the idea out and seeing how everyone responds. This is also partially my idea on how the world could be after the Last Battle, and how an Asha’man, and an Aes Sedai, would deal with a place like Equestria. I will be working on editing the story now so hopefully it runs smoothly after.
