Crystal Beasts have the gimmick of placing themselves in the Spell/Trap Zones as face-up Continous Spells(usually if they got destroyed on the field as monsters)
You might want to actually look up the cards to not only see their stats, but also know what they actually do. You also need to change your format for duels, because it's super hard to know what's happening and whose turn it is. Recommend reading other Yugioh fics to get a sense of how it's done.
