After hearing of a new theater being open in Hope Hollow, Twilight Sparkle and her friends head there, and after meeting the theater owner, who seems to know a lot about their past, present, and futures, they head inside a magic movie screen.
Next thing they know, they end up meeting a pessimistic boy who seems to have a fear of everything and runs his life based on safety statistics. Together they went to the library, where they will embark on an amazing adventure.

I did hear about some of the drama earlier surrounding this but all the same I am interested and fully willing to give this a chance.
Lot of exposition at the start and admit I'm not familiar with some of these other characters present. All said, I am familiar with IDWs recent G1 crossover and am interested in giving it a look. I for one like the PQ2 influence with the theater, if I recall hearing that correctly somewhere. Also admit that Manos would be... interesting. XD
I'm an old MST fan myself, so I admit I would be down for that, The ponies influencing and altering the ending to some effect included.
