I have a suggestion: What If Twilight Sparkle said no to Princess Celestia's Offer of wanting to Rule over the entirely of Equestria when she and Princess Luna retire from Ruling Equestria?
I know I rarely talk about that nowadays.... but seeing as this story is about the What If? Scenario, I figured why not: It would be nice to see my request get in. :)

my what if fic started off like yours, answering actual what if questions about the show.
it lasted about half a year and three chapters in total worth of what if questions before I gave up on making sense.
what if:
1) we saw Yona and SandBar's wedding
2) Spike did end up with Rarity
3) what if Spike did stay as Dragon-Lord
4)
DashRarity was a stallion5) ever mane 6 (ever one by one, or at the same time as Twilight) become alicorn
5.5) what if A.J. was the only one that had become an alicorn
6) when Shining Armer marred Princes Cadence, he (got his wings)/(became an alicorn)
7) MLP had TicToc
8) Scootaloo could fly after getting her C.M.
9) Starlight Glimer got the power of ever C.M. she stole
10) Twilight stayed in the Luna TimeLine or Pirncess Luna became Queen

4. What if Spike discovered his origins?
5. What if Spike was an Element of Harmony (due to the fact that a green Element of Harmony only made a cameo twice in the episodes "Friendship is Magic" and "Shadow Play")?
6. What if Flim and Flam were truly reformed and never tried anymore scams (as shown in "Friendship University" and "Best Gift Ever"
7. What if Spike went on that Zeppelin cruise with Twilight's family?

I like the what if Rarity was a stallion. Gonna second this because it's just so weird that mlp gen4 didn't have a male lead unlike Hitch in gen5 who is a main character. Also gonna second the Aj becomes an Alicorn first (in the second-most episode, Twilight announced Honesty first, so it would make sense that Aj will be the first to conquer ascension since she's the most stable in the friend group)
Also what if Rarijackdash was canon in 'The last problem'?
What if Applejack was never born, and thus someone else has to be the Element of Honesty?
What if Marble Pie saw the Rainboom instead of Pinkie Pie?
What if Rainbow Dash had an older, much cooler brother that's already a Wonderbolt but they hate each other?
But these are just suggestions.
It's ultimately up to you about what fics to write.
