hmm well let's review this, the story's ok, well written fun characters the fact I did think shining was cheating was annoying but revealing she was in it all along was a good plan, the sex scenes were nice though revealing there was some magic involved to influence was a bit strange but its no deal-breaker. if Cucking is someone's thing they'll love it. So I award this story 8/10 points
Cadence on the stallions and Shining Armor who rages because Cadence does not want to sleep with him anymore and will divorce him for Sombra.
This feels like more of an afterthought than aftercare.
The inner monologue cadence has in the first chapter makes the audience believe she's not consenting to what's happening qnd is surprised that she's enjoying it. Perhaps a reveal that they had cast a spell that made her forget she enjoys being a cuckquen?
Ahh, magnificent. I think there was a bit of disconnect between Cadance's inner dialogue at the start vs. the ending. Like, she wouldn't have been surprised or upset. She might have acted that way. Perhaps it would've been better for her to have been discovered sooner? But I love a good cuck. The part where shining aimed Thunderlane at Cadance was a good stroke of art.

I figure she put herself in a frame of mind to act and think that way, but really I just want to have it both ways, because I can't bring myself to be completely mean, or make Shiny that much of an asshole. Theoretically the aftercare is optional depending on the reader's attitude. I don't know that this actually works, though.

It certainly helps, for those who may have been a smidge uncomfortable at how into character she was getting.
Admittedly, I was kind of hoping for this, just because I prefer that these two do be a loving pair even if they add others from timeto time.
And yes, Cady, Tempest is indeed a top notch domme. ;p

I do like a bit of mess....
I had a feeling it was role play, but wow that get a bit nasty in the derogatory rundowns. I know some people get off on being insulted and used but wow. Still, well written so I enjoyed.
Luna, Sassy, Fleur, Thunderlane, and Tempest, and only two were ponies Cadance had nudged toward him?
I'mma' guess Luna and Fleur. I suspect Cadance would tag those two as best hookups for everypony's enjoyment. Sassy definitely seemed the odd mare out for never really catching on (I can see her being in Fleur's vicinity when Shining swept through). Tempest "caught on," which makes me think she also had to figure out what was going on (she could have been around the castle when Shining moved on Luna). And I like to see Thunderlane as an amazing surprise for Cadance, and assume she wasn't expecting Shining to grab any stallions.
Though there is something to be said for reversals... Like Sassy being one of Cadance's prospects, Fleur tagged along through her, and Sassy just wasn't prepared for the seriousness of the roleplay. Hmmmm...

The trick is to give us just enough information to make the wrong assumption without actually confirming that the actual truth is wrong. Like... Cadance being surprised when Shiny walks in with a mare. Leave it at that and we can't tell that she's surprised because who he brought, not that he brought. Let us assume wrong based on implication, without actually denying the true situation in any way.
This was the exact kind of writing technique I used in a story of my own, and it's a ton of fun.
It's hot but you are really pushing the suspension of disbelief. I would think Shining would be a lot more extreme since it's acting and he would be caught completely off guard by Cadance appearing. I would think Shining would still genuinely love her and when he is found would want to make sure she's not hurt.

I'm not entirely settled on which two it was. I'm pretty sure Fleur was one of them, and I'm pretty sure Thunderlane was not (but Shiny assumed he was because he was very agreeable, and probably even started flirting first). Luna seems a bit too ambitious for Cadance to prime, but maybe? Cady naturally has insight into who is horny for whom.... ^^

I would have liked a little more aftermath in character. Like a quick one with Cadance having a more openly pleasant time and kind of half going along with Tempest's taunts.
