Applejack got out of bed, and stared at the other occupant of their two person bed. A little, unseen, smile crept up on her face.
She got up from bed, got herself some water and took out her pen and a notebook.
There were far too many thoughts and emotions going around her head, lately, she needed some place to jot them all down. She tore out a piece of paper from her farm log, and started writing.

Well, the story has downvltes 'cause it isn't all that good. The original's far better, and I can definitely see why this has the votes it does. I mean, the original had a little hope outside of the love interest for Dash, but this? Nothing of the sort to be seen. The repition of 'wife and child' made this suffer as well. Whether that's the reason for the downvotes or not, that's someplace I know I messed up on.

This… was… BEAUTIFUL! Reading Applejack’s letter made me cry more than I read Rainbow Dash’s letter. I loved these stories so much, and my eyes are watering. LITERALLY. WATERING.
