I guess the whole time I was going for a darker ending, or as some would say, bitter sweet. The memories were put in place to help make people become more attached to the pair, so that when the ending came to be, it would have a larger effect. It was slightly depressing to write to be honest, I love these two.

I was a bit skeptical when I saw this new chapter, to be honest. And frankly I was content with the ending of the first chapter, making the story a heartbreaking tragedy.
However, this chapter was a fine addition, and I'm happy Bon Bon and Lyra finally got their happy ending. It's good to see that your writing skills are still sharpened, too!

Hehe I was skeptical writing it, knowing it'd been out for so long, the idea only popped into my head that morning, and I wrote it out and liked it. I too was happy with the original ending, but I felt I could add more, and once I had given a reason for them to be where they ended up, I wanted it to end well for them, rather than with more heartbreak.
