Minuette dances back in time (and space!) due to a mathematical anomaly derived from Pinkie Pie's non-Euclidmare-ian geomaretry. Dr. Hooves* exploits the situation. Derpy challenges the Doctor. And Lyra Heartstrings finds a friend.

Happy Pi day! And one year since my registration here.

Era: Season 3 (the start of).

*Intentionally spelled as Dr. Hooves instead of "Whooves".

Went a bit over my head at times, but still fun to read, and in commemoration of one of my favorite sort-of holidays.

This was amazing to see it.

Delightful bit of nonsense. Just what the site needs! Looking forward to more.

Delightfully absurd!

Thank you, all, for the comments and for reading!

Fun fact I memorized the digits of your mom

I'm glad to see I'm not the only author who's a slut for numerous web links in a story.

Anyway, it's nice to think about a fictional character getting a second chance to live a better fictional life.

RE: Web Links - My theory is, we have a special medium, so why not use this medium to maximize its special beneficial qualities! :pinkiehappy:

I'm always annoyed by stories that read like the first chapter to a longer story, but are meant to be one-shots. That doesn't mean that they can't be good stories! I like this story, but the ending makes it feel like there should be another chapter. I do have one complaint:

"That's hogwash." One of the many ponies in his audience objected. Other ponies, bearing pitchforks and signs declaiming "Free Minuette!"....

It looks like you couldn't make up your mind whether the signs should be "declaring" or "exclaiming," so you combined the words.

Thank you for reading!

Concerning "declaiming": https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/declaiming
The first of the Cambridge dictionary's example sentences is: ""The end of the world is at hand!" the poster declaimed."

Oops, my bad! :facehoof: I should've Googled the word before I accused you of making it up! (A year ago, I came across "squoze" in a story, and was almost ready to post a comment making fun of it before I thought to Google it.)

The funny thing is that moments before posting this comment, I was looking up the difference between "snigger" and "snicker."

I learned something today!
