okay issue here. I doubt a symbiote would allow them to to be a mask like that. should be more like what is goign on with Scream and babs. And why would Carnage allow itself to be a hero. unlike it's father Venom never had a hero stint

Do you remember is Marvels Spiderman, when Max Model create the synthetic Symbiote? Well that's what those samples were at the Life Foundation; enough of symbiotes to have their power, but not enough for them to be alive.
It still need to bond to a host, that's just instinct, but as of right now, there is no trace of Carnage in Applejack's symbiote.
