Uh, no.
The image in the author’s note shows a siren-pony pony, whereas the story contains a anthro siren-pony.
A full-on anthro siren would probably be very different to an anthro pony in a number of ways, so I’m using ‘siren-pony’ as a sort of way to shrink those differences.

The tagging around all this stuff on Derpibooru is a bit confusing, so I couldn’t find a proper image when I was working on this, but I managed to now and have replaced the author’s note image with it.
