Dear Princess Sombra,
I have come up with a way to contain that spiny crystal thing you found. It's a huge tower made entirely of crystal stairs. I think you'll quite like it. Unfortunately, your magic is so immensely powerful that we will need you to take a vacation until the project is finished. I hear Celestia banished her sister to the moon for a bit, and that she is single. Perhaps you could have a bit of fun!
The project planners insist we will need 998 years of invisibility for construction, and the accountants estimate a cost of around 18,000,000 rupees. (though I have no idea what those are.)

My second in command says he has a great idea for a creepy door that steals souls. I think I’ll put it in the basement.

Dear Princess Sombra,
We ran low on slaves and had to reroute the entrance to the stairs from your throne to the basement. Already had a door there, not sure why, routed it through that.

P.S.
Heard you turned into a giant fart monster. Sorry to hear that.

Dear Princess Sombra,
Sorry its pink.

Dear Princess Sombra,
Finished a touch ahead of schedule. Ended up consing 3 times what was projected. Decided to put a nice little spike trap on the roof, free of charge.

P.S.
Sorry about the moon thing, forgot she was evil.
Firrsssttt? (and probably last )
2871219 Ya, my writing must be slipping, I haven't been getting many comments lately. Kinda discouraging really.
But, hay, your here, so its not a total loss right?

Well, only when she wants to with that face. Just saying, Spike managed to actually kiss her before passing out/dying.

I meant that it took very little effort to read it. The story moved itself without me having to guess anything or fill on the blanks and there were few enough mistakes/the idea was good enough that I didn't mind if there were.

Not a total loss. I don't think it has so much to do with comments as it does views. If it's good than people will tell people about it and it will get featured. That said, don't feel bad. Your mind probably works differently than most of the other people on this site which is why they don't understand/care to comment. I'm in the same boat, at least that's what it feels like. Honestly I think they quit reading half way through, so I know that feel. Just write because it's what you want to do and not for the fame. I write because it's better than playing video games that I've already beaten countless times. Even if no one reads it in the end I had fun making it and finding a outlet for my internal meme engine. That, or what you said and your writing is slipping 0_o.
2872297 Yay.
2872330 You hit the nail on the head, I'm autistic. And, yes, I write because I love it, but comments help push me to write more. I want to entertain people, and make them happy, not just amuse myself, and I cant tell if I'm succeeding without somebody telling me. I guess I'm just a needy person.
In any case, thanks for reading.

If it's any consolation, I couldn't tell at all based on your comments and the stories you wrote. Honestly some of the prompts were hard to make something really good in 30 minutes. If I were you I would just sit down one random day and start writing whatever scene you imagine and let it snowball like you did with the spoon story. I would like to see more of what's going on in that one.
Oh, well in that case just be the first to comment on every story and just ask people to tell you what they thought even if it sucked. My two bits on that.
Between you and me, I am a needy person as well, but more for the social aspect of things. I just don't have that many friends that I can truly be me around because I am really weird and the friends I do have are drifting apart again. Anyway, thanks for writing (and replying... ).
This is genius.

You should hear the voice I used for this. That was actually my favorite part. (wish I had a mic)

Also autistic here. I've found that on this site, commenting on good stories will often get your own stories read by the good authors you've followed / commented on, and maybe seen by people who follow them. The other route to many views is submitting your stories to groups.
I'd be interested in working with you to put out an audiobook version of Spoon Quest. It's just about the right length for one sitting.

Don't really get your terminology but I'm glad I did a good job of whatever I did.

I love you temporarily!
This is both very funny and very confusing. What is pink, what happened on the moon, and why is Sombra a princess?
5921389 I don't know what's pink. The moon thing referred to "I hear Celestia banished her sister to the moon for a bit, and that she is single. Perhaps you could have a bit of fun!" in the first entry. you may notice that everything is dated with "Post Lunar Banishment". Sombra is a princess because Sunshine Smiles Cadenza is a chronic troll.
Thanks for the comments. I love seeing people enjoying my work.
