Poor Juniper Montage. Destined for stardom, but continually thwarted by the consequences of her actions. This time, it's nothing so dramatic as sabotaging a movie set, just a minor budgetary setback brought on by the allure of new gear. But that doesn't make it feel any better.

Good thing Twilight Sparkle is around.

Firstly let me say it's nice to see some Juniper Montage stories again.

I also like the fact that Canter is still willing to work with Juniper, even after the stunt she pulled, instead of just not talking to her, the way most of these stories go.

Their relationship is a interesting touch stone that most stories don't address, so it's nice to see it mentioned here.

The dialogue between Juniper and Twilight where Juniper acknowledges that (intentional or not) she kind is mooching off of others without meaning to, is exceptionally well done. I really related to Juniper there.

I also I appreciate how you sound like someone who knows their cinematography. You pull off making their conversations feel like a discussion between two people who understand the work, rather than purely armature stuff.

All in all, a great read for Christmas day. Thanks for writing!

Well, Mid-level digital cinematography has been a recent hyperfixation. Combine that with my normal-photographer wife and… yeah.

This is nice, and an interesting perspective that focuses on two characters whom we don't see paired up together (in a friend sense) very often. Kudos to you!
