This is one of those stories that might or might not require an alternate universe. The main difference is, in canon EqG we don't see Sunset and Adagio interacting this much. But this story COULD have happened offscreen between other events, so it's hard to say. IF this story is squeezed into the canon world, Adagio and Sunset could have gone through a big, messy breakup before "Equestria Girls: Sunset's Backstage Pass."

Aww that was cute! Kind of a sad ending though
That was so beautifully done. The genuine way you make them bond was great. And dang that ending. As someone who tells their significant other in a daily basis they aren't allowed to die, just that idea of that moment. Knowing how much they care for each other, how do you tell a previously immortal person they are going to die? I'd honestly read a follow up that explores that idea.
