While I personally feel that the name "Shining Armor" implies a combination of impeccable moral fiber and shonen protagonist who would break every law of physics and genre in the name of saving it for marriage, stories like this were still slightly inevitable.

Eh, saving it for marriage is overrated.
You really want to know whether you're sexually compatible with someone before you marry them. Or else you might doom yourself to a bad sex life forever. Sex isn't the only part of a good relationship, but it is a part ... and if the sex is bad, the relationship will suffer.
And most people get better at sex with a little experience. Virgins are okay, I guess ... but it's better when you're with somebody who knows what they're doing and knows what they like.

Overrated? Maybe, but nowadays where everyone is just down to get dirty all the time, saving it for marriage or for someone you truly love is a rare thing, almost like a commodity. A very good story, and with so much attetion to the characters, how they build up, how they reach where they're going, and how they get down and messy!
And yet... not so much my kind of story. Just hard to get into mature Cady with young Shiny.
Overall I rate it a B. Good, but not great. As a result I will not call on Lrrr to destroy your planet, but neither will I provide you with my recipe for ponification.
