Someone needs to tell that nerd that she can just cut off the spines.

I mean yeah, but that wouldn't make for a very good story.

I think.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I'm not sure if this is a conventionally "good" story either, so I guess there's that.

Hmmm she could always just eat the prickly pear fruit no need to eat the entire saguaro cactus

Camel: “Hah! Amateur.”

I came for randumb, I got comfy.
I'm okay with this

Haha absolutely enjoyed this! It got a decent giggle out of me. I do hope you do consider doing a sequel I enjoy your relaxed writing style keep up the good work!

Of all the ways Celestia could have resolved this, of course she goes for the one that lets her stuff herself with Junk Food :trollestia:

Incidentally Twilight many species of cacti are loaded with poisonous alkaloids. Some can get you high  But most just induce major organ failure :twilightoops:

This story is surprisingly grounded given the subject matter, yet it still feels as though it shouldn't exist.

11179149 Alondro be munchin' on a cactus, "Wait, what was that last part?" :pinkiesick:

Oh, I like this. At first it reads like a troll fic, but then it turns into a well written character study. Well done

With some, it's just better to burn them off

Hi! Does that mean I just received...fanart for a story I wrote? I can't see I saw that coming, but I don't mind at all. Wonderful picture, and thank you.

I have to write a sequel someday. Would be fun, as long as I can think of a fun way to continue this story.

Sequel: four pages of Twilight making unhappy toilet noises

Soooooo, given that this species has a crap-ton of mescaline in it... I hope someone documents Twilight's trip.

:twilightoops:

Don't know what I expected but It was enjoyable

This reminds me of how I used to think that pickles were made from cacti.

Reminds me of that lunati on YouTube who actually ate a full cactus spines and all.

Just about as horrifyingly painful as you'd guess.
Every part.
