Oh. Well, no, I didn't get inspired by Angel. In the old version of this story, Sombra and Twi were using telepathy, and it only makes sense that I would want them to use it in this story. Also, it would make it easier for them to talk when other ponies are around, because
1) Nopony would hear them.
And 2) Sombra is always in his budgie form when other ponies are around.
