Pinkie won't let little things like Applejack's logic "A pineapple ain't an apple!"
or Twilight's loss of sanity "She's right, go to the store!" stand in her way.
What follows is a tale of romance, science, and pinecones.
Also, Twilight summons a demonic entity but that happens every month so isn't important.

I liked this one, certainly entertaining, especially the second half. Some of the ponies seemed slightly out of character but to a perfectly excusable degree in order to make the comedy work.
I was especially amused the the emergency plans.

Well the story only went up this morning so we will see. Even if only one person gets a laugh then its worth it.

One thing; I found the joke at the beginning where Applejack's headache graduated a little... odd. I see that you were going for some word play, but I think it went a little too long. That's just my opinion though, and fits with the Random Tag.

Seriously, that was great.
So now Applejack has to go to Nurse Redheart and see if Pinkie convinced Redheart to let her use a delivery room, or if that was just a way of unintentionally trolling AJ (she got caught up in the story/game or what have you).
Either way, best monster ever, should totally be a villain in an upcoming season.

As for the story, it was...odd. I liked your characterization of Pinkie Pie, but once the pineapple started rampaging the town I thought the story lost its edge.
