There are only really to two main characters in MLP that have magenta eyes, Rainbow and Celestia. Celestia would never be so reckless so as to leave herself so exposed by directly confronting Luna in her own domain. Assuming that this is some sort of assassination attempt, it is definitely Rainbow this boldfaced, broad daylight recklessness is exactly her MO. Perhaps some sort of misguided vigilantism.
