All 4 GOOD games anyways. We don't talk about Dragon Quarter for PS2 except to insult it.

For real. The limited saves and dragon mechanic were such bullshit. Not to mention the early game was way too damn hard. I liked the core concept, but the execution was ass.

Also, the effective time limit is bull, I mean what JRPG doesn't let you grind?

It feels like they were trying to go a weird resident evil route. Not sure what that was all about.

Breath of Fire does need a new GOOD game, if they get rid of the timer and allow for grinding (even if the enemies get more difficult as you do so ala Final Fantasy 8) then I would play it.

At least in FF8 they gave you GFs and Equipment to compensate for level scaling. In Dragon Quarter, no such thing exists. I even pointed this out in previous chapters. You can have challenging enemies and still offer the player ways to work around them.

Can't like the story, so I'm gonna leave a like on my own comment. edit: dang can't like my own comment.

her collection of eastern role-playing games.

As opposed to the RPGs from where else?

Western RPGs differ a bit from Japanese ones. Classic japanese RPGs are turn-based and have a lot of fantasy influence. The western style is more action-oriented and inspired by the Medieval period.
