There so much happening in this one chapter, but to summarize, with a horny (ier) Rory as a sort of spirit/mental companion to Brex; Break Down and his father are a pair of backstabbing power-hungry family; as for the two mist figures I guessing they're this world's version of Displacers/Void Dwellers... though I don't know who's 'they' the ones responsible for targetting the merchant, killing Brex's prior self, and that spider abomination... a lot is happening at a sudden pace...
