Pony with a Pen

Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like to not write about ponies. When I have those moments, I write about ponies.

"Some stories are best told to none," Luna whispered.

Long ago, the stars disappeared. Then, somepony returned them. You won't find the tale in history classes or archives—only in the hearts of the mares who were there.

*Set before the time-skip at the end of Season 9*

Oh my god this was so beautiful, I have a weak spot for stories that read like fairytales and legends, awesome work!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Though I'm not as proud of it, An Oral History of the Two Sisters may also be up your alley.

It's beautiful!

There were more than a few places in this were I was on the verge of tears.

This isn't just a romance story, it's capital-R Romanticism, and fantastically well-done at that.

Also:

her flanks truly are a magnificent sight, but do you really think they’re that fat?

I laughed so hard I literally died.

This was such an utterly beautiful canvas of words. Every paragraph left me wowing with meaning and detail. This is a prime example of literary art, knocked out of the part and into the next, favorited and saved.

I appreciate that! When I first posted the story and quickly saw a few negative ratings, I figured it may not be well received. Regardless, it's worth it all when I hear how it touches people's hearts.

Element of Laughter: Achieved! :pinkiehappy:

This tale is close to my heart--it represents an extremely difficult year, but one that forever changed me. (Hopefully, for the better) I think that really comes through in reading it.

Nice play on the title. I too like for whom the bell tolls

What a wonderful, beautiful story.

I rather liked the mythic, fairy tale-esque vibe this story gave off. Great job!

Never read the story, actually. The titles are similar, but “For Whom the Stars Shine” popped into my head before I even started writing—unrelated to anything else.

Thank you! I always appreciate seeing comments from other authors. So many people have created stories that I’ve enjoyed, so returning the favor is a wonderful feeling.

For whom the bell tolls is a song by Metallica broskie.

... That anvil was struck hard by the hammer that this story was forged under. It's a true emotional ride and damn if I'm not glad I took it!

Truly. The experiences that led me to write this story were intense, and I'm glad you could come along with me for the ride!

Oh my god nothing could prepare me for such masterpiece of a story. I read this at work, one of my colleagues was suspecting I wasn't doing my job but I just can't tear my eyes away from this story. That's how great it is.

I appreciate it, though please make sure you keep your job!
