Shimora will likely make cameos in other stories outside of this core universe, but otherwise we haven't done much with her. I'll ask Silver if we can maybe do more with her.
As for Mass Effect foreknowledge? A lot of this story is assuming you either know things beforehand, but you don't need to play the games since we describe a lot of the setting. I highly advise you to look things up on the Mass Effect Wiki if you want to know more about things we mention, but otherwise you should be able to enjoy it without wiki-walking.

Love the story, thank you for making it, I kinda felt this coming after the whole mass-effect discord thing in the last story.
Though I never expected you to make the mc a geth, it was a surprise and I love it, also I honestly like marrow, he add’s a tie-in with the last story and on top of that has a lot of room to grow, the sly, spunky, loner that never wanted a relationship but gave it a chance for someone special, I think that’s cute
