I might revisit it in the future, but for
nonow it's only a one-shot.Looks like sunset is having an identity crisis.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, but I can't help but worry that Twilight is about to die.
Oooh but this was good though. Identity crises can be hard enough as it is for most people, especially if they have a mental illness that makes holding onto a sense of identity difficult.
But this is a whole other level of "Who am I?" that takes said health issue and cranks it up to eleven. Those with that issue can find themselves adopting habits or ways of speaking without knowing if it's really theirs or not, but not the way Sunset here did.
This was great. Well done.
I hope the sequel is titled "how is Sunset Shimmer?"
Why what I have so many questions
Empathy powers going haywire is one hell of a nightmare. Let's hope her nature - and that of everyone whose memory she got - stops her from doing something that'd take this straight out into tragedy
