Oh ah'm certainly hopin' ta write more with this universe. A' course, ah gotta stick to some semblance a' project order. Mah chapter of Multiversal Harmony an' a tie-in epilogue to What You Are in the Dark are the big priority, followed by finishin' this story, then a new Manehattanverse story. After that, ah have several ideas for other stories in this universe, which share a priority level with an addition to one a' mah pre-Manehattanverse stories.
Not bad, and I'm almost always up for another AU reinterpretation of the series opener.

I assume Twilight is older than she is in the normal universe but I don't suppose that's actually confirmed. Snips and Snails seem older to me but Diamond Tiara seems the same as does Dinky (maybe)
Celestia certainly seems better prepared to deal with Luna, but what exactly is she preparing to do?
I wonder who snuck on board the carriage, Moondancer stalking Spike? Lyra popping back to visit Bon Bon?

It's a decent setup at any rate. See if it goes anywhere. I'm curious what would happen if Twilight ran into Moondancer, because one is the superior of the other, yet they're both playing hookey on a fool's errand to possibly save the world from evil. I can't imagine how either would tattle on the other though, as out of their element as they are, so maybe it'd be a matter of common ground?
Hmm, things are coming together and unraveling at the same time! Celestia, what is even the heck up with you?! For once, Twilight going a bit nutsy is warranted!
I think I am now more interested in learning about Professor Heartstring's adventure around campus -- and assuming they are true, why nopony else has noticed them -- more than the main story.

It's subtle touches like using a natural line over forced exposition ("Now, why did I pick the lock to Celestia's office?") that make for good writing.
