One of the Wonderbolts is retiring from her dangerous job of stunts and high speeds. To Soarin's misfortune, this means that a contest - one of which has not been held in a while - must be created to find a new Wonderbolt. However, once something goes awry at the contest, an extremely unlikely pegasus ends up joining the Wonderbolts, and she is forced to cope with her new occupation and the grudge of another particular pegasus...

Hmm, I hadn't thought about RD holding a grudge yet, but now I'll have to consider that for later. It could be a pretty big plot point in some way or another. Just don't forget while she does hate losing and Derpy did ruin her chance to join the Wonderbolts, she'll get over it eventually... no matter how long "eventually" may be.

Something tells me Rainbow Dash better watch her back. Because I seen situations like this one where the dumb one avoids all sorts of trouble and the annoyed ones get the pain in 10 fold.
So if this is going to be happening in this storyline, then I'm all for it because I love me a good comedy.

Thanks, but I'm trying to avoid Derpy being seen as "dumb". I'd prefer if she was interpreted as a competent mare, even if she's a bit silly or forgetful at times.

Well when you put it like that, there goes half of my enjoyment to this story. Still, I have to ask...will Rainbow Dash play a minor supporting role in this story ?
You know trying to coach Derpy into the realization that she is one of the Wonderbolts and helping her "pratice" a bit before the show ?
By "Pratice" I mean torment Derpy enough so that she would be tired for the show and that Rainbow Dash could show her up, at least that what happen in Spongebob Squarepants one time.
