This was well written, descriptive, loving, steamy/cloppy, and I LOVED IT!!!
Few grammar mistakes here and there, but nothing too distracting. I really like how you characterized the Mayor, and made this pairing believable. Honestly, the only thing that I didn't like about this story was how it didn't go into detail about when they first met. Other than that, very enjoyable.

Well, I'll give ya props for attempting what is undeniably a crack ship

However, I was a bit let down in the romance part, but you went and spoiled me with Morning Glow so it had some pretty tough competition there. It also may have been the characterization of Mayor Mare, while she pretty much needed to be like this for the crack ship to work, it didn't mesh well with my internal picture of her (which I didn't even realize I had one before reading this).
You took on what can only be termed an insanely tough project by trying to do a romance for Mayor Mare x Gilda, and I think you pulled it off quite well considering the subjects, but you were working with a very serious handicap there. Perhaps if we had more time seeing the couple meet, and begin to chat, or had little flashbacks of it, this wouldn't have felt so forced, but as it is the relationship is simply too compacted, too rushed to feel natural.
As for the clop scenes, they were done pretty well, as with all of yours they were unique and able to stand out from the crowd, never feeling "samey" like some clopfics can. As with many of your earlier clopfics it seems to skimp on feeling to focus on the visual description almost exclusively, but in your later material, especially Morning Glow, you've gotten far better at addressing this.
Overall, a good story, not great, but certainly far better than could have been expected concerning the subject materials.
I'm definitely feeling some electric relaxation up in here.
When I saw that my first thought was that she actually likes Mary. If she is conserned what she tastes like for her partner then there is some stronger feelings. That and I chuckled becouse I have done the Pineapple thing before too.
