Stinium_Ruide

Writer on hoof, reviewer at heart!

T

This is an exquisite corpse story that was written by members of the Reviewers' Mansion.

An exquisite corpse is a story is a collaborative writing exercise in which a group of people try to tell a story: the catch is that each author can only read what the author before them wrote and must continue despite not knowing the entire story. Here's the chaotic wreck that was formed.

The prompt chosen by Atom Smash was "Forever together..."

The atrocious cover art is done by myself.

The authors are, in order of the chapter written, Atom Smash, Buttery Bisuit, QueenChrysalisForever, short tale, Nailah, Jarvy Jared, Firefoxino, Ninjadeadbeard, Lone Writer, Stinium_Ruide, Armid, Arkane12, iAmSiNnEr and SwordTune.

My chapter is by far the worst of them all but this was a lot of fun. Good job Stinium.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this piece of art.

Nonsense, the dialogue was great!

Good job, everyone, we successfully lost track of the story midway and somehow managed to find our way back.

It was fun! ^^ and it ended up so intresting!

Prepare to you have your mind tested and you expectations blown. This is nothing like you have read before or will again. Enjoy all that have the courage to read this piece.

Bonus points to whoever can list what 3 works I parodied in chapter 14

Gah, I wish I wasn't busy at chapter 4. I would have created more chaos.

Why isn't there a comedy and/or a random tag?

You know what this chapter needs? Editing. :twilightsheepish: I spotted several mistakes.

That aside though, wow it's fun to read this again, it almost doesn't feel like it's my writing anymore. I can't wait to see what the others did to it! :pinkiehappy:

Yeah, I wrote horse words badly.

I can guess The Hobbit and the Poetic Edda, but I don't know the third...

There's so many cliches in this it's hilarious :rainbowlaugh:

This sounded like this story was a blast to write! I've seen stories have 2 or 3 co-authors, but not that many and in an exquisite corpse-type story...and "exquisite corpse" was something I never even heard about until now.

I learned something new

pfffft you actually got Poetic Edda correct. Specifically, it's Lokkasenna, though I'm sure you knew that.

I knew you would be he one who made them adults

It goes off the rails even more at my chapter. You have been warned.

You used the Discord card. Well played.

Did we ever really find our way back though?

have you seen the grammatical mistakes I have in my chapter? Please.....

You are among the best chapters Nailah.

How did we get from a peryton to a shadow creature again?

The tone and style can and should change, but this is a bit much, don't you think?

Either way, I hoped you enjoyed this chaotic mess. Turns out that Sinner wanted to throw a curveball…I couldn’t control him!

What do you mean using the alliteration scheme common to Old English and Old Norse poetry is a bit too much? I don't see how I could have done anything else. Beowulf and Lokasenna are classics.

waiting for a sequel invitation :duck:
