Enjoyable bit of metareference, but Pinkie's right about those deceptive tags. This descends into outright existential horror at times. Still, a good bit of fun with the fourth wall.

I won't be surprised if this isn't my last 404 story. It seems to be my goto brain dump when I'm having a meltdown while writing other things.

Yeah, don't be offended, but the first story was way funnier, and also that story was credo absurdum est, so partially because of this it was much more fun. This story, however, was… ok, I think. It looks like you tried to write a sequel to the first 404 story, but either you choose the wrong plot, or you made it without inspiration. As a result if the first story I think got for me ≈8.5 of 10, the second — ≈6.5-7 of 10.
I can wish you good luck and much more favor from that windy Lady Inspiration girl in your next works.

Hey, I have an idea.
Why don't you try to write a story in first 404-style, where Pinkie or, maybe, even all Mane 6 will hear an Author? Something like in this story. Or something like little scene I wrote in far 2015 in the comments to the translated version of that story (TRANSLATED BY GOOGLE):

I've read that story. Fun little bit.
I still only really write the 404 series as the inspiration strikes me since both times I've written the whole story in a short afternoon.
Right now I'm about 20 chapters into something I'm writing and I'm trying to focus on that without procrastinating too hard.
