This story is a sequel to Twilight Daylight: The Cold War
After returning to reality from Narmeelah's Time Pocket, Dawn and a handful of creatures witnessed a battle for magic with Twilight "Arcadia Nova" Sparkle, Saviour of Psera at the helm. Psera's military was damaged, ponies now lie dead in the streets of Equestria. Dawn was too late to put a stop to a war between her and the rest of the world.
Twilight Sparkle, the most powerful pony to ever exist, the creator of spells, mistress of the elements, and role model to millions, now awaits her sentencing for crimes against ponykind.
But a threat looms over Equus. A threat that Dawn herself has seen. A threat that will destroy all of ponykind unless Arcadia Nova is released. They won't do it. Only she remains.
But what is she to do? With her father, King Shimmering Madun dead, and her mother Queen Arcadia betraying the world, Dawn is left in limbo alone. Her home untrustworthy for her safety and Equestria refusing to engage with anything to do with Arcadia...
How can she save Equus?

ok how they are treating twilight is really pissing me off. especially since Nightmare moon was treated differently and just like in the first book i really want to slap Celestia, she just lost all the respect she earned from me in the second half of the first book, and second book
I'm disappointed on how they treat Twilight. It's kinda depicts reality.
After all of this? Does Equestria and their highly naive and dumb alliance really "DESERVES" to be saved?! Let them all get burned by Bad Karma for all I care! And both Twilight and Dawn will shout out to the idiots: "I told you so!!!!!!! But, since you don't need our help to save the world. Screw you guys, and hope you all burn in Hell!"
As for Psera getting saved? It's a mixed bag for me.

(And also, Dawn is completely right - not even Nightmare Moon died, and she was Nightmare Moon! would Celestia have been willing to do this to her sister? I THINK NOT!)
I really hope things change for both sides soon, there’s just so much anger. Good job on making us readers sympathise with Dawn though.

The part about twilight being a tyrant, yeah no. there is NO light being shined down inwhich twilight was ever a tyrant. Sombra was a tyrant. he Oppressed his people. all twilight did was wage war on another country.
and also there goes my respect for all of Psera. but even more for Molten Ice. its almost unnatural with how she is treating twilight. how could she be so heartless. she should be able to understand her the most, at the very least she should be sad. not celebrating Erasing twilight from history. I honestly think the world would be better off if Twilight and Maheera Dark teamed up to take over the world... well after getting a promise out of Maheera to not mind control or kill ponies again.
it would have been cool... twilight marching onto the capital guard trying to stop twilight only to get blown away with little force, she would have kicked the front gate off the castle of the god and make her way into her study. then she would have released him Maheera. together Maheera, twilight and Dawn would destroy Narmeelah and spread dark magic to the four corners of the world. from what dawn showed with her ability to bring creatures to life. i feel dark magic is the more Natural side of magic. the more sacred, good side.

If I were Dawn I think I'd take her mothers action and flee across the ocean.

But Twilight did command all those attacks on the various kingdoms, hurt so many and caused so much destruction. Aren’t they’re actions sort of justified to an extent?? And doesn’t Dawn know the actions her mother committed? I mean yes, draining Twilight of All her magic and having her in her current state is sort of extreme. I might be missing or forgetting something please do mention it if i have. I am just having a difficult time understanding why everyone is hating on the princesses, Psera and company despite the negative/ extreme actions that Twilight committed in the previous story.

I feel like Luna, more than anyone else among the equestrians, would know of what twilight was going through, and to what extent the shadow can effect someone. Yet, throughout this, it seems as if everyone excluding Flurry and Dawn have just completely resigned for Twilight to be punished. Regardless of what twilight has done or been through, or may have been suffering from.
Regardless of how they're treating Twilight though, I still enjoy this story very much. Am eagerly awaiting more chapters :)

No. Dawn is made up of Dark Magic which comes only in one form from. She's made up of the same material that made Maheera Dark.

Like I said long ago. This is Bad Karma raping, ripping and tearing their asses and kingdoms a new one.
They should regret and feel sorry for themselves, and try to make a bunch of worthless "apologizes" to a OP Twilight/Arcadia and Dawn.
And I highly doubt that those two will spare their kingdoms, and possibly Psera for their betrayal.
It will be like seeing God's 10 Plagues against Ancient Egypt in the Bible all over again. But, it will be Twilight/Arcadia ( And possibly Dawn ) to heavily PUNISH Equestria/Psera/IHT for their dumb actions.

But they did what they did because of Twilight’s actions in the last story (specifically near the end where she almost kills her friends and family etc) so shouldnt their actions be justified? The last few chapters of the previous story did show Twilight was in the wrong at least from what it looked like and people agreed on that but now its the complete opposite or something. I don’t understand what it is exactly that paints equestria, Psera etc in the wrong and Twilight in the right. I’m not sure what it is that I'm missing or not understanding here.

I know that Twilight/Arcadia is acting plain ridiculous ( Even psychotic! ) in the previous story. Because she blames Magic for some dumb ass reason, for her life problems.
But it was mainly Blueblood, the Zebra Terrorists, and Narmeelah's own DAMN faults for screwing with Twilight's life in the first place!!!
But this time, Psera has the idiotic audacity to betrayed her, after all she has done to them.
And Celestia/Equestria/IHT and her "family" didn't even try to help her with her ruined life and situation.
And both her and Dawn TRIED to warn them of the True Villain/Threat. But, they stupidly ignored them.
And now, Dawn already told them it is too late, and they will now PAY the price for betraying, not listening to them, and messing with the wrong two powerful ponies.
Not sure how I feel regarding Twilight, but still a great story!
