Just a writer. Not good with descriptions, though.

Thorax never asked to be leader. He certainly never believed he could fit into such a rank. Now, he must face his fear of confrontation and disappointment for his Hive's reformed legacy to continue on, even when threats begin to arise around every corner. Thus, Thorax must learn how powerful he can actually be, in hopes of keeping his Hive, his pack, safe.

*This Is What It’s Like, and Celestial Ascent, both other books of mine, are hinted at throughout this book (and vise-versa). Although, they don’t necessarily have to be read before.*

I’m surprised I did it so quickly :twilightblush:. I guess it’s just down to the right playlist, huh?

I wish it were that easy for me.

Imediately hiatus? Guess I'll marl read later and keep an eye on it. GOOD LUCK!

Princess Cadance had taught him that technique after he had panicked about hissing at little Princess Flurry Heart after a bowl of hot porridge and sugar had been flung at his head. Well, not necessarily at , but more along the lines of in the general direction of , which made her bawl.

Reference to The Odd One I see?

More intended to be of an indirect, slightly modified reference to Dear Small Pony Book by Carapace, where Thorax hides and turns into a vase, as opposed to dropping the floor and turning into a rug.

I don’t think I’ve actually read The Odd One, yet.

Thank you! More of an ‘On Hold’, really. It’s explained in my recent blog post, if you’re looking for an explanation.

Well, this was a pleasant surprise.

Okay, Thorsass,”

I had a double take at that line—

Yep. Thor’s ass, m’friend, Thor’s ass.

The constant italics every few words are really distracting, but there's good interaction here. I think I'll bookmark this.

I’m sorry you feel that way, but it’s the way I interpret the character’s inflections/tones/speech when trying to get in character.

Oh, and thanks for favouriting! I appreciate it.

It’s a magical thing, no?

Very. The ass is mightier than the ax

Hm… so this is taking place during “Sweet and Smoky”?

If we’re being specific. It’s mostly S9 as a whole, but currently yes, here it’s Sweet and Smoky.

Hm… does that require an Alt. Universe tag or no?

Well, it’s alluding to Sweet and Smoky. Fluttershy, Spike, and Smolder haven’t come yet. Seeing as it doesn’t directly affect the flow of the show, I’d say no.

Mm… alright. I see where you’re coming from.

This is a really intriguing story! The dark and heavy thoughts that constantly weighs on both Thorax and Pharynx, probably, minds are interesting in of itself. The story really feels organic, especially the unexpected potential danager that was triggered during the meeting.

I can't wait to see where you go from here, Wordsmith!

Apologies for not commenting sooner, but I really wanna know who the niece is—
