The Rainbooms do not consider Sunset Shimmer their friend. They only treat her as an assignment from Princess Twilight Sparkle from the other side of the portal. I don't think that they would be able to forgive Sunset for all the years of hard and cruel life she has given the students of Canterlot High.
Author I want to ask why is the Main Character so forgiving to Sunset after everything that she has done?
Well I mean if it was me and realistically speaking a lot of other students at that school, I would have given her the "Eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth" treatment. There is a price to pay after all. A big price and something like that just doesn't get forgotten overnight.
Don't get me wrong. I know that Sunset Shimmer finally gets the climax of her redemption arc at the end of Rainbow Rocks. But in the context of the original, It has taken 6 moons (or months) in that matter for the girls to finally warm up to Sunset and even then, they still get a little distrusful of her from time to time which is realistic.
Nice job on the intro. Can't wait to see how it turns out later on.

But no sunset shimmer.
