Moondancer has many books and most of them need a little bit of love. Luckily for her, she has a marefriend who doesn't mind restoring them for her.
Written for the Quills and Sofas 'Basic Palate Cleanser' Speedwrite with the prompts 'books' and 'restoration'. Written in one hour and presented here with minimal editing.

The dynamic between these two is really interesting, as they're both so soft-spoken and introverted. Your use of an otherwise non-romantic activity--refurbishing a book--as a declaration of love and trust is so beautiful, and really illuminates what makes this pairing work. It makes me wonder what sorts of vulnerability Coco might show to Moondancer in return!
Your descriptions of Coco using her sewing machine are also really wonderful. I've seen Coco depicted as the type to find a sort of zen harmony in sewing done before, but you really sold it.
