Prologue: Gift & caretakers.
In the Canterlot police station, the chief of police Garnet Vince is filing up on the police result papers.
He paused when someone is knocking on his door.
"Come in!"
The door opens up to reveal another police officer walk in and closes the door, then salutes him.
"Police Lieutenant Elisa Briggs reporting chief!"
"At ease Elisa, no need to salute me for today. Please, have a seat."
She nods and goes to sit in the chair.
"Anything to report while I was gone for the past week Lieutenant Elisa?"
She handed him a document report.
"Yes sir, about five days ago, I got an urgent call near Canterlot High School about an assault in school grounds. I sent in both officers Gleaming Shield and her partner Rondo Hilt to investigate. In there reports from arriving at CHS, they saw a civilian who's all bruised up, screaming, and has a knife swinging it around. Thankfully, officer Rondo knocked him out cold and took him in their cop car. They written down reports to any witness, Vice-Principal Luna gave her report on what happen and why her sister's hand is injured."
"Apparently, after Luna and her sister Principal Celestia got done with work, they found an injured civilian boy near the statue. While Celestia tries to check on him, they didn't expect to see the boy screaming at them and pulls out a knife, stabbing her sister's right hand. Luna pulled her sister away from him as he said horrible words & curses at them right before the police showed up."
"In the end, he's locked up in a cell for some time before taking him to the hospital for the treatment. Doctor Umar told us that the boy had a mental breakdown, but we don't know the cause of it yet. We also know he doesn't have his wallet on him, nor any address to his family's house. Currently now, he's at the hospital being taken care of by nurse Redheart and her two assistances."
Police Chief Garnet rubs him chin and scratches it.
"I see, then what about the Principal sisters? Were they going to file a charge on him?"
"Afraid not, Luna is patching up Celestia's hand. Though they do hope that the boy's okay when he's recovering from his mental mind and maybe apologize for attacking Celestia."
"Hmmmm, how about the boy?"
"He's stable in recovery, but he hasn't talked much, except a bit more by the two assistants and a visitor. If later on his parents won't come or contact Canterlot, then he'll either end up in the orphanage center or on the streets. I don't know what has happen in his past life, but I'm sure it isn't fair for him in either of those two options. In my opinion, I think an adopted family would help him. You know of anyone else in mind chief?"
Garnet hummed in thought for a moment before answering her.
"Well, I know of one not far from Canterlot. I'll see if I can give her a call later. Anything else?"
"No other reports sir. Though um, when you off for a week, did you find any suitable ladies yet?"
Garnet looked at her unamused and sighs.
"Not really Elisa, I'm on a different schedule for a month. Also a word of advise?"
"Y-Yes?"
He stands up and leans in, glaring at Elisa as she seems a bit nervous.
"Make sure the 'service' is elsewhere outside this station cause I can hear loud 'initiation' near my office."
Hearing him say it, she realizes of what he meant and her whole face is red of embarrassment.
"G-G-Got it C-Chief Garnet!"
She quickly salutes to him before opening the door and slams it shut running off, leaving Garnet chuckling to himself.
"Heheheh, I'm glad that I hired them, but still surprised those two lovebirds got really hooked in a relationship."
He sits back down and picks up the phone.
"Hey, this is Police Chief Garnet. Can you put the Sheriff on the line? I need to speak with her."
At the Canterlot hospital, a girl visitor in a summer dress clothing is watching over a restrained patient boy.
Her name is Ichigo, she has soft green eyes and a petite build. She wears her straight & medium blue hair in a razor-cut hairstyle, where her hair hangs lengthier on the right side of her face. She has free-falling bangs that mostly covers her right eye and one long strand of hair on the left side of her face. She also wears a white hair clip holding back the bangs on her left side.
"Never thought that I spend my long vacation here in Canterlot." Ichigo murmurs.
"Especially since moving away from my old school far away."
Her eyes glances to the boy whispering words in his sleep.
"I wonder if things were worse at your school as well, huh?"
Her voice gets interrupted when a door near her is open up, revealing the assistants of Nurse Redheart.
There names are Anthea and Concordia. Concordia has golden eyes, yellow hair with a blue band tied in a ponytail with two locks standing out and wears a blue blouse, a white-yellow skirt with a ribbon and a pair of blue ballet shoes. Anthea has pinkish eyes, long pink hair with two locks being over her chest and wears a green cloak over her white shirt, a white-pink skirt with a ribbon and a pair of pink ballet shoes.
"Oh hey Anthea and Concordia, it's been a while." Ichigo happily greeted the sisters.
"Indeed it is, everything okay at your home?" Anthea asked her.
"Not much, dad is staying at home doing house chores while mom's working at a business place."
"Speaking of homes, have you found a home or apartment yet?" Concordia wondered, tilting her head.
"Eh it's a work in progress, I barely found any suitable place of home or apartment to rent while I'm stuck here in Canterlot. Then again, the food is really delicious in some stores so I'm not complaining."
"Oh, well did try to attend a school here? I heard it's a nice place to make friends and secret boy hot boy~!"
The two sisters giggle and Ichigo blush a bit red, then shakes her head no.
"Ewwww Concordia, you know I'm not ready for that yet!"
While the three girls were busy chatting, neither of them notice a bag by the patient's bed sparkling in a small bright light before it stopped.
