I know I'm weird when I come across a story like this and one of the things I wonder about is: So what exactly made Carrot and Cup separate in the first place? Like what's the story there? They seem to be getting back together in the end. Perhaps Cup had to go achieve something and ended up leaving Carrot and the bakery behind?
This isn't the kind of story I should worry about such things, but well here we are.
Short, sweet, and perfect. This is a really good piece. The kind where It really could use a sequel if not even more episodes. I appreciate the effort you put into this plus I love the picture you used for it.
