10796186 A majority of ponies have two different names. For example Colgate/Minuette, Sweetie Drops/Bon Bon, etc. Button's Mom is no exception. I've seen her be called both Cream Heart and Love Tap. It depends on the writer, really.

Except that Button's Mom is an OC created by JanAnimations, not the canon character and he himself confirmed on his Twitter that her name is Cream Heart as part of a promotion for the sale of an official plushie.

But I guess you're right. I shouldn't push it. However, the worst fan name for her I've seen was Elania.
