The term "feral" is used to describe normal animals, even clearly domesticated ones like Gummy. The term "anthro" is used to describe stuff like the cover image where it's something of a weird partway point between that and humanized. If you're still confused then

I think Gummy was a bit overwhelmed. Besides, he is canonically more of a "internal monologue" kinda guy and most of the story is focused on Twi's POV.

mostly i used twilight as the cover art because i couldn't really find any other crop of the image that wasn't kind of unsafe. to be fair, though, she *is* the primary viewpoint character.
