Heh, in that case I think that the atmosphere works.
Not too shabby. Some grammatical issues should be fixed, and I believe that there could've been more prologue as a way to make the reader question if maybe the whole thing was a hallucination. This felt very creepypasta-esque, and while it could've been better in certain areas, it's okay for what it is 🙂

Nope. As soon as that first lamp went off I would have already been clutching a knife or some sort of weapon.
I noticed it said four bulbs were left near the beginning after the first one went out, but then only three more went out after that. A pretty good story despite that error. I enjoyed it.
