The Kelduo

I'm your friendly neighborhood hero who adventures alongside his Pokemon partner Keldeo. Alone, we are strong. But together, we are the Kelduo!

E

Kirby and his fellow Star Allies were fully prepared to put an end to the villain who threatened the safety of not only Pop Star, but the entire universe! What they weren't prepared for, however, was a spell misfire that landed the pink Star Warrior, two of his allies, and the white-robed villain in an unknown world.

Please note that I made this as a sort of sequel to a non-MLP-based story that I made a few years ago, meaning there will be a couple of non–pony OCs.

As the title suggests, this story is a remaster of Kirby Star Allies: Friend Hearts are Magic. Just a heads-up, I'm still going to keep the original story up for a while in case there are people who still want to read it. But after a few days pass, I plan to un–publish the original. I don't want people to get confused about the canonicity. There's a chance I may also rewrite Guest Star Kelduo: Justice From Afar in the future, but that is very, very unlikely.

One positive change from the original Friend Hearts Are Magic is that the point of view of each chapter will be specified in the parentheses of the chapter's title rather than in Author's Notes. That way, you won't have to read the Author's Notes just to see who narrates the next chapter.

The story takes place on March 16, 2018 (the release date of Kirby Star Allies), while also taking place sometime after the events of School Daze, Part 2. This may not make sense, but if I remember correctly, School Daze took place not long after the events of My Little Pony: The Movie, which was in November of 2017.

Edit: After giving it some thought, I have decided that I will not take down the original Friend Hearts Are Magic story.

Chapters (23)
Comments ( 5 )

Hey, sorry I didn't comment on this story sooner! I've been caught up in school and I've been forgetting to comment on FIMFiction.

I don't have much to say, since this is the only chapter I've read so far, other then that I think it's better written then the original story from what little I've read and I prefer the new style of saying who's POV it is in the title of the chapter then the previous style of saying who's POV it is in an Author's Note. Makes things a lot smoother~:heart::heart::heart:

However, I would honestly greatly prefer if you didn't take down the original story. I don't know how to phrase this without sounding rude, but simply put, you are worrying about a problem that doesn't exist. I have never seen anyone mistake a pre-rewrite story as the canonical version. Sure, you might get the occasional commenter on the original story that isn't aware there's a rewrite, but that can easily be fixed by saying "Hey, did you know that there's a rewrite?" and linking them the rewrite. Deleting the original version would be like if HAL Laboratories deleted all copies of Kirby Super Star so no one would think that Kirby Super Star Ultra was non-canonical, and that's obviously quite silly, correct?

Now, I have to say I'm biased, as author's deleting the original version of their story when they make a rewritten version is one of my biggest pet peeves, as I enjoy having the original version in order to compare and contrast with the rewritten version, but that's just me and I won't throw a fit or anything if you decide to take down the original story. I just don't think you should take down the original for canonicity reasons.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go ahead and take care of that.

The improvement can easily be seen between this story and the original! That was really great!

Glad you liked it. I didn't care for how the original turned out, so I felt I had to make a better version of it. And I'm very happy with how it turned out. I got to give Kirby character development, and it didn't feel right to leave out the fact that Kirby was the incarnation of positivity and the offspring of Void.

I hope you look forward to the upcoming Kirby story! Even though he may have discovered his full potential as an up-and-coming god, that won't exactly make the next adventure a breeze. I like to think that Kirby only gets really serious when he's fighting dangerous bad guys like final bosses. So during most of the adventure, he'll rely mainly on his usual skills and Copy Abilities than his new powers as a future god. But when he faces off against a very strong enemy or if one of his friends is in danger...:pinkiecrazy:

They're gonna have a bad time.
