Ever since arriving into the human world, Sunset Shimmer would sometimes have strange dreams of foggy images in her sleeps. Some years later after having a bad fight at Canterlot High which resulted in going into a coma, Sunset finds herself in a dark large castle and someone by the door. While walking around to find the figure, she finds an old treasure chest and opens it up, showing a weird crest and a mysterious whip weapon before everything around her went to blank. She woke up a week later in the hospital and in her left palm hand, it shows the black cloth with the same crest symbol she saw in her last dream.
