Don't forget that items aren't exactly exclusive to one character. Everyone gets the same thing provided they helped take down the creature/entity that dropped it. There's also crafting, so someone could also craft the same item so long as they have the means to forge it.
There are special scenarios like Fluttershy getting The Slime Gods and those become exclusive to her, or even how The Terra Blade and the other blades connected to it are meant for the ponies. But those are for the story's purpose's.

Question? I know we all talk about on how it's sad that Harmony lost Shadow Thunder. BUT! Why are we ignoring that she was a frickin Villain/Tyrant for some crazy reason. And possibly killed innocent Ponies, Other Equestrian Creatures, and even Terrarians?! Yes, she is "regretful", but she was sad that Shadow Thunder died. We didn't see her say anything or think about the untold MILLIONS of Deaths she has slaughtered from long ago! 😡

I can’t wait to reveal that too. I can say this without any spoilers: She didn’t kill any creature you could find on Equus. However, Terrarians felt her wrath much like we kind of do in game. Although, in The Empress’s defense as far as the game goes, we kill her rainbow butterfly thing which we can only assume is a beloved creature to her.

Really? I never played Terraria. But I know the basic stuff of it. But, I never thought we have to fight a equivalent of a Goddess of "Light's" Pet? I mean, IF she was good. Why did she get corrupted and attack Equis and Terraria?!

In the game she is an optional boss. She only spawns if you kill a rainbow butterfly (sometimes it actually happens by accident).
And she never attacked Equus, she created it.
As for why she attacked terrarians... I am not sure about her reasons in the story, but in Terraria she is described like this.
