“Oh, I wouldn’t go that far,” Celestia said, a sad smile pulling at the corners of her lips. “Why do you think I had you write me so many letters?”

And at that moment, Twilight wakes up in her bed in Ponyville, realizing it was nothing but a dream of an overthinking alicorn. Again. Or some rambling from an author.

She could never tell which sometimes.

Cool idea, At first I wondered why this had a dark tag and not a sad one but it did take a turn near the end, Celestia coming off cold and distant which I can only imagine was the intention.
