Starlight learns to let go of her stress. Trixie finds a new way to process her emotions. Maud reveals why she always wears a frock. Ellie says trans rights, and not just with her mouth. F/F/F/F Pony/Pony/Pony/Human with sweetness and character.
10542396 I actually just fixed it and the beginning up a bit to connect them better, really should have made sure that worked before posting but I'm glad you liked it still! That is all the reaction I ever wanted. The rest of the site can downvote me to karma hell now, don't care!

“Wait. I just realized that there may have been some pretty major consent issues with what we all did back then…”
This is why I headcanon Starlight as being completely unexperienced by the time of her reformation. I'd like to think she was self-aware enough to know that she shouldn't touch ponies she had completely under her control, but I could be wrong.
“Oh, no. Nononononono, I am not talking about that.”
Yeah, good call on that, Ellie.
It felt like a connection between their two cores of being. Maybe the straights were onto something…
Hmm, maybe Ellie hasn't tribbed much. Or the right way. There's a way to connect that way that's incredibly intimate.
Damn, I was not expecting some sweet gender affirmation here. That was adorable. Poor Ellie forgot about both eustrus and the fact that different species cannot reproduce... it all worked out nicely though. :)
so when I first saw you say you were going to start reading this, a small part of me actually panicked and tried to convince me to pull it before it was too late! Really glad I did not, though.
I'm glad you didn't, either! Not only would I have missed out on reading this, but you should write, first and foremost, for yourself, always. I don't publish anything I don't enjoy re-reading on my own. And it's flattering that you value my opinion, but it should be secondary to your own.
But yes! I came to this site looking for basically this story and did not find it. What I did find was, as you call it, most of the time bad. So, y'know. When you don't see something being done right, gotta do it yourself.
That's my motto with soooooo many things I've written or plan to write.
I was resigned to continue to throw chapters out into the void and watching the downvotes accumulate, so I've genuinely been giddy all day that you appreciate and understand what I am trying to do.
You're welcome. Don't worry about the downvotes. I guarantee that most of them are just drive-by's who don't like the Human tag/the shippings/the characters, whatever. Just keep doing what makes your gay little heart happy.

Oh, you are right. I mean, a story dealing with the fallout of that would not be fun to write, especially considering how bad Starlight is with bodily autonomy in general. My headcanon agrees with yours, Starlight spent her entire youth doing nothing but studying magic and her young adulthood doing evil things that don't involve touching ponies, leaving her 100% without experience for fun stories where she gets to learn a lot of great things from either a smug blue unicorn or a laconic grey Earth pony with great eyeshadow or both, simultaneously.

Aww, thank you! That is the part from here I wish I could make canon to my stories the most, but I don't think Ellie's arc ever intersects the issue in all the stories I have planned.

Yes, different species from Ellie's world cannot reproduce. But Celestia knows how reproduction works in a world of magic. For instance, the different pony subspecies can interbreed yet instead of getting hybrids they always are purely of one subspecies or another (Bojack Horseman rules). Also, my ponies get three things! Voluntary ovulation, endometrium resorption instead of a menstrual cycle, and sexual activity unbound by phases (what do you call that, perennial? idk.) I just find the idea of heat phases implied by an estrous cycle to be too non-human and non-consensual to be enjoyable.
10554781 Well now that I have an audience I am going to have to start being anxious about possibly disappointing someone instead of confidently launching off chapters knowing how at odds they are with the prevailing tastes of this site. But it definitely motivates me to write more!

Good point. It's probably best Ellie not find this out the hard way. On a sidenote, Bojack Horseman is fantastic. I'm sure you already knew that though.

Dang, those first two make them incredibly lucky. For the last, I think you mean that they don't have a heat cycle where they are only sexually receptive at that time, and that time only, just like IRL horses (and most animals). Humans are pretty much always sexually receptive, but I don't know what the word for that would be. Or maybe you mean something else entirely.

That's fair. I like it because it makes them more "horsey," but I don't write it as some kind of mind-altering frenzy that results in said mare being reduced to an animal. Nor do I write it in terms of sexual activity only ever possible/occurring at that time, because of that. (So not entirely like horses.) It's just a quick shortcut to not worrying about pregnancy in situations where that's relevant. Your solution to that is definitely one I have never seen before, so points for creative solutions.

Whoa now. You've done a good job already. Clearly, you know how to write and have thought things through, which is more than can be said quite often on here. Don't let my presence make you anxious. I'm nice. Write whenever you want, whatever you want, and I'll let you know what I think. But I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Oh yeah, sorry! I should've thought through the possibility that estrous cycles can be depicted in a way that's compatible with the way our friends, the colorful sentient horses are depicted in the actual show, instead of entirely like horses. The way you do it sounds nice!

Haha, that's the idea! It's conforming with my general HiE theme which is that Equestria is just nicer than the terrible human world Ellie comes from and the ponies are just confused about the things that Ellie brings up. Maud's reactions to her in this chapter are a prime example of that.
Your solution to that is definitely one I have never seen before, so points for creative solutions.
Thanks! I mean it is totally wish fulfillment, just combining Nice Things to Have but that also ends up connecting to larger ideas, I swear!

Oh shit, there's no more yet? Damn. Added to my faves for when there is more.
