This story is a sequel to Why Not A Princess Instead?
There's never been a wedding Rarity didn't like. She loves to attend them, plan them, be part of them, and had always dreamed she'd have her own someday. The childhood dreams of a white gown as she gave her hand to a handsome prince held a special place in her heart, even when such thoughts could easily seem childish in the face of reality.
Yet, in the strangest of ways, she has her wish. Yes, a prince became a princess -THE Princess- but the rest of it can now be exactly the same. The fairy-tale romance of Rarity and Princess Celestia is finally seeing fruition and she can hardly wait to walk down that aisle and make the vows she'd longed for all her life.
The only obstacle? Planning the wedding.

Wonderful chapter, it's so great seeing my favorite ship get the attention and really explore a Celestia/Rarity romance. That you've not afraid to put in actual conflict in the story adds some drama and stakes as well.

This chapter was kind of hard to read, because NEVER was there mention of them being National Heroes. Multiple times over. Something that should de-facto give them status equal to, or even surpassing, the House of Lords.
I mean, it speaks highly of Rarity's character hat she wouldn't take that easy route of shutting down Blueblood...but to never even consider it?
